Description de la plante carnivore

Sarracenia 'Juthatip Soper' is a captivating cultivar. This hybrid between (leucophylla x purpurea) x leucophylla pink, created by Matthew Soper, has velvety tubes. The pitchers vary in colour from candy pink to reddish pink in summer.

Official cultivar registered with the ICPS.

Care instructions:

Temperature: Sarracenia can withstand temperatures exceeding 40°C in summer and resist frosts down to -15°C in winter.
Water: For watering, use the capillary method, making sure to constantly maintain a water level of at least 3-4 cm, or more depending on the height of the pot. Use only rainwater, demineralized or osmosis. During periods of high summer heat, increase the water level to half the pot.
Light: Exposure to full sunlight outdoors or in a glass or plastic greenhouse.
Dormancy: All Sarracenia need a dormant period from October to March. The pitchers turn brown and die during this period. Leave them outside in full sun, always in a soggy substrate. Not giving them a dormant period in winter could cause your carnivorous plant to die. You can learn more about caring for them here.
Substrate: Choose a substrate with blond sphagnum peat moss mixed with perlite. (We recommend a mixture of 50% peat and 50% perlite.) You can also find a special substrate designed for carnivorous plants in our online shop here.
